"I am writing on behalf of the Commanding Officer and all those members of the Battalion (serving soldiers and family) who were lucky enough to attend the Christmas party on 20th December. We all had an excellent evening, one of the girls who has been married to a soldier for 15 years and was brought up as a child in the Battalion said it was by far the best Christmas party she had attended.

I know that many of those who attended thought that the music made the night, as I said at the time I think you have converted a whole new generation into Abba fans...Please pass on our thanks to the rest of the band and those who worked behind the scenes to put on the show, everyone really appreciated their efforts.

I know you were keen to show your support to the soldiers and their families and you have certainly achieved that, the night was one they will remember for a long time and I know that lots of the children have told their Dads who are still in Afghanistan all about it."

I wanted to write to say thank you to you all for the most amazing entertainment on Friday evening.  I know Abba guarantees a good tune but everybody has said how much they enjoyed listening and dancing to you. I had the most amazing party. Every wish translated into real life. It was truly FABBA !
I hope you all enjoyed it too and we were a good audience?  You can certainly rest assured that if I celebrate "50" you will be there to share it with me!
